Veksler Academyl handles everything from 3-year-old beginners to extremely advanced, university level students. Due to the number of teachers on staff, the students are matched up with teachers that best meet their needs and who relate well to them. Our dance teachers will share their passion to dance with their students. They will teach how to improve student’s self-esteem, discipline, creativity and self-confidence through learning to dance.
Veksler Academy has a proven track record since 2008 of offering quality music and dance instruction for children age 3 through adults in, piano, keyboard, guitar, violin, voice, singing, drums, bass, clarinet, flute, saxo phone, preschool music and dance classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop. Our full time mission is teaching music and dance lessons trusted by over 1500 families for the last 5 years.

We offer free admission music recitals with a 9 foot grand Steinway piano in a first class professional recital hall. Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital. In May and December many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. We hold these at the Le Petit Trianon Theatre which has grand Steinway pianos and world class acoustics. Our recitals are the perfect venue for you or your child to show family and friends the results of months of learning and practice. Our recitals are organized and designed to eliminate stage fright and help performers build self esteem. At our music recitals, students get exposed to new musical styles and instruments. The recitals help students stay motivated, encouraged and interested by seeing the progress of their peers. We pride ourselves on making them the lowest stress, most enjoyable events you will experience. Our recitals will provide your family with great memories that will last for a lifetime.

We offer full training in repertoire, studies, technique, ear training and sight reading to prepare classical students for various exams. Many of our students participate in prestigious music tests like Certificate Of Merit Test (CM Test) organized by Music Teachers’ Association of California and ABRSM Test conducted by Royal Academy of Music – world’s leading provider of music exams and assessments.

REGULAR CONCERTS AND RECITALS
Recitals and concerts are held at least twice a year. These provide students with performance experience and build confidence. Participation in music festivals, competitions and workshops is also available.

THEORY CLASSES
Classes are taught in preparation for exams in all levels of theory, history, harmony, counterpoint, and analysis.

5 Ways To Get The Most Out of Music Lessons
Many of the parents choose the Veksler Academy of Music & Dance because in addition to having excellent teachers and programs it is possible to have one child in music lessons while another child is in dance classes.
The beautiful air-conditioned facilities feature brand new Yamaha pianos in every piano studios and a dance studios with professional floating dance floor. It is usually possible to get 2, 3 or even 4 different students in different lessons during the same time period. Many parents and kids are so busy that saving 45 minutes or an hour of commuting time per week between activities really helps the typical busy family’s schedule.
One of the unique features of the Veksler Academy of Music and Dance is that it offers private piano lessons for children as young as 3 1/2 years old. The school has developed a special approach to teaching these youngsters in a fun yet professional way. Children at this age learn how to play piano from their first lesson, then from song to song they learn how to express emotions through the music, how to make songs better, how to read notes and finally get their songs ready for a recital.
All of the music teachers hold a university degree in the instrument they teach, and many have master’s degrees. The music school handles everything from 3-year-old beginners to extremely advanced, university level students. A large number of students choose to take the prestige CM test, conducted by Music Teachers’ Association of California. The main focus is on helping students gain the skills they need to enjoy music long after music lessons are over.
