For
family circumstances, my 5-year son could take just one semester
of piano lessons in Veksler Academy of Music. But this
experience had a profound impact on his general development, his
attitude toward study, his self-consciousness and self-esteem.
He has learned how to confront the challenges and to make the
best use of his time and efforts. He has discovered the miracle
of overcoming difficulties and of achieving results to be proud
of. He loved his teacher and loved the music he was to study.
The culminating event of the semester was the school's public
concert in the Le Petit Trianon Theater in San Jose. Not only
every kid tried to mobilize and demonstrate all his or her
potential for this event, but it learned them also to appreciate
the effort and worth of their peers. The Veksler Academy faculty
are splendid musicians and superb teachers who are bringing to
the Bay Area the best artistic and musical-pedagogical
traditions of the world-famous Russian piano school.

My
son started his first private piano lesson
at the Veksler school over a year ago when he was just 3.5 years
of age. We had tried another private piano
teacher before this and had felt very disheartened. But I am
glad we tried the Veksler School! The teachers at the school are
extremely dedicated and focused on teaching and catering to each
age group separately. With our son, we found the teacher had an
amazing amount of patience - getting through to a 3.5 year old
with music lessons on the
piano is a tough job - my son at just the age of 5 can now
recognize wrong notes after playing a song once! Not only
teaching, but the staff also helps inculcate a lot of confidence
in children with their patience and understanding that each age
group is different and moreover, each child is different. We
have seen that piano lessons have improved
our son's concentration, coordination skills and raised his self
esteem. At the Veksler school, they even organize recitals at
the theater where the children get an opportunity twice a year
to play on stage. Some added benefits are the professionally set
up music studios designed for all ages- adjustable benches, foot
stools, a professional environment, friendly staff, a place
where students can learn both music and dance. We first heard of
the Veksler Academy from one of our friends who had their son
enrolled there at the same age - 3.5 years. Now we would happily
recommend to parents with kids as young as 3.5-4 that piano classes can be an extremely useful
tool in their child's learning and growing process. At least
with our son enrolled at Veksler Academy we do feel fortunate
that we found the correct place for his private lessons!.

Our son started learning Piano (private lessons)
when he was a little over 3.5 yrs old. Even though our son
enjoyed listening to music and is/was good at memorizing the
tunes/songs ...we were a little skeptical about his ability to
stay focused and learn Piano at that young
age. Within a month's time we were pleasantly surprised to see
his progress... Our son is now nearly 4 yrs 9 months and has
already given 2 wonderful recitals. He now religiously practices piano every day...and enjoys attending his
weekly classes. The piano teachers at
Veksler Academy are very patient while interacting with young
kids and yet very professional. We very highly recommend Veksler
Academy !!.

My
daughter started learning piano from here
and takes private lessons. She started when
she was 3yrs and 8 months. Her concentration and musical sense
has increased since then. She gave her first recital when she
was 4 yrs and 3 months and the second recital just this month.
Both she did well. What I like the most is, the teacher is very
nice to the kids and is a perfectionist. There is no compromise
for the musical theory and practical playing. All the recitals,
are very professional. All the kids need to play without seeing.
Even in the class, they pass a song, only when they play without
seeing perfectly. My daughter looks forward to the class every
week. I really think, investing our time and money in the best piano school from the beginning matters the
most for our children

My
2 kids started the piano lessons at 6 and 8. They like the
teachers and the piano lessons. The teachers are enthusiastic in
the music and dedicated to students success. The school has the
flexibility to arrange the lessons for my kids at the same time.
Otherwise I would have to wait longer for them to finish the
class one by one. Piano lessons help kids in self esteem,
coordination, and concentration. I would recommend this music
school for the parents

Our
8 years old son started taking lessons at
this school 2 years ago. It's unbelievable what he has achieved
in such a short time. Now he plays Beethoven and Bach, while his
peers from other schools are still struggling with “Old McDonald
had a farm”. Dedicated personal, high cultural and teaching
standards greatly contributed to his success

Whenever I have piano lessons, I

To me piano is a way of expressing how I feel. My piano teacher
helps me learn a lot by following every little detail on the
song to make it sound professional. I really enjoy coming to
piano lessons every week. Thank you!

I have been
learning piano for since being 6 years old under the guidance
of an excellent teacher, and it has changed my life
tremendously. I find music as a way of expressing myself, a
way of focusing my mind, a way of entertaining myself and
others, a way of discovering myself and the world around me, a
way of life. Now at 15, I understand the difference that a
great piano teacher made in motivating, encouraging,
challenging, and guiding me in my musical
endeavors. Undoubtedly, what I've learned through and about
music will stick with me for the rest of my life, as it has
become a part of me as much as anything else.

I've learned
piano for seven years, and I can honestly say that it has
changed my life. Introduction into the world of music was
something that was the beginning of a breathtaking adventure.
Out of all the schools I have seen, attended, and played at, I
have to say that the Veksler Academy of Music and Dance is by
far the best. The staff are well trained, and the facilities are
well maintained. I can personally vouch for music from
experience. What makes the difference in one's musical journey
is the teacher, something I found out the hard way. I have to
say that the Veksler Academy of Music and Dance has teachers who
are truly passionate about teaching, and they will make every
effort to make sure that their students find the same love for
music that we are all so entitled to have.

I
have been taking piano lessons with my teacher for 8 years.
Thought this time, I have learned and experienced much. I
have grown in not only body but also mind. But during these
eight years, learning music has been an important part of my
life. It allowed me to learn things in different way and see the
world differently. I also got to experience new things such as
playing in recitals. At first, the thought of performing in
front of others was a scary idea, just like all other performers
feel. However, as I played in more and more recitals, I become
more comfortable with the idea of playing in front of others. I
also learned music history and many interesting and complex
songs such as "Hungarian Rhapsody #2" by F. Liszt that I can
play at family gathering. Thank you for teaching me this
invaluable skill. This knowledge will help me for many years to
come.
